TownePlace Suites by Marriott Boise West/Meridian

We were staying at the Hilton across the parking lot and it was so bad we left early. We went over to the Marriott and were so very pleased. Everything from the service, the rooms, the pool, all the things that were offered. It was so cozy and homey feeling. Everything was clean and orderly. Will return again.

Last week, my wife and I flew into Boise/Meridian, unfortunately for the funeral of my closest friend of 47 years. When I went to check in at TownePlace, the young lady with a beautiful smile, asked me what brought me there. I told her I was there to attend my closest friends, funeral, and deliver a eulogy. I could see her smile change to an Expression of empathy. She offered her condolences and proceeded to check me into my room. My Wife and I dropped off her luggage in the room and headed out to grab some lunch. We came back to get situated and when we got into the room, I saw a red bag with an envelope propped up next to it. IWife and I dropped off her luggage in the room and headed out to grab some lunch. It was a sympathy card with a beautiful message from the general manager, and five or six different employees of the hotel. In the bag with some water and a couple of snacks. I was incredibly touched by this gesture. This went so far above and beyond that it brought tears to my eyes. This is truly, truly going above and beyond to show that kind of care to a complete stranger who is a guest. Thank you to TownePlace Meridian, and all of your employees for making this visit a little bit easier.

2 miles drive to department stores and Walmart and with Taco Bell next door and a car wash. Very friendly staff at the front desk, thank you for your service and friendliness. Clean room with a mini kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, access to the storage closet was accessible either through the side of the kitchen or the bathroom. The only complaints I'll ever have with US hotels are the indoor a/c and heater device, it looks outdated having a heating and cooling device situated below the window sill, and making noise when it turns on automatically. The wifi although appreciated was very slow and affected the loading time so we didn't bother with it. Other than that, a perfect accommodation.

Nice spacious rooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice pool that my family enjoyed. The reason for my 4 star instead of 5 is that the room smelt a bit of pee (i was staying in a pet Friendly room as i was traveling with pets), and the laundry facility only took coins but there was no way to get cash back at the front desk or an on-site ATM. Other than that it was a great stay for the family.

Decent Marriott, just a little old/outdated. Pool was shut down for maintenance, which was a big bummer for our daughter.

The staff were great! Free breakfast was good too. Unfortunately the indoor pool wasn't working but they posted that on their website. Using booking.com was my mistake because they didn't let me know about the pool. I found out after I couldn't cancel the trip because it was too late. I got a room with a kitchenette which was great because we love to cook.

This was a good central location to all the places we needed to visit while we were in town. Everyone we came across that worked the front desk was extremely helpful, and when we had to get our room cleaned later in the day from a dirt incident my husband had with his shoes, they were very accommodating! Loved this! Breakfast always had some delicious eggs, yogurt, oatmeal with all of the fixings and some kind of meat. The room was spacious, and the bed was relatively comfortable but not the best. I have a lot of curves, and this mattress did not accommodate all of them. It's on the firm side. All and all, it was a good stay.

Our room with two queens was very spacious. I appreciate Riley who acknowledged my status at check in and offered to look at a room upgrade without me even asking. Even tho there wasn't one, that was a nice gesture that not many people do. Alot of the town place suites, have you checking in at a building different from the room you are staying in and therefore have to walk outside to get to your room but this one is like any hotel where you check in at the lobby in the bottom and walk indoor to your assigned room. The room was older but clean. The only thing I have issues with is that the Wi-Fi is very slow.
